This article mainly collects and analyzes the patent cases published/announced by major patent receiving offices in the United States, the European Union, Japan, China, and South Korea as of 2015/12/31. Conduct trend analysis with dimensions such as applicants (company). Global patent filing trends

According to patent information, the top six patent receiving offices according to the total number of applications are Japan, China, the United States, Germany, the European Union and South Korea. From the analysis of the time trend, most of the patent cases related to robots in Japan were filed before 1996. The number of applications increased rapidly from 1980 to more than 2,500 cases per year in 1983, but the number of applications for the next 20 years decreased year by year. The number of patent applications in other countries is showing an increasing trend year by year.
