[Focus]Hannover Messe 2019: Industrial Integration – Industrial Intelligence

A few days ago, the 2019 Hannover Industrial Expo media conference was held in Hannover. The exhibition theme and key topics of the 2019 Hannover Industrial Expo were announced, and the relevant cooperation and progress with the partner country Sweden were shared. Guests attending this media conference were Dr Jochen KÖCKLER, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hannover Messe, Per Thöresson, Ambassador of Sweden to Germany, and Jürgen von Hollen, Chairman of Universal Robots Denmark.

The theme of this year’s Hannover Fair is “Industrial Integration – Industrial Intelligence” to interpret manufacturing in the new industrial era. “Artificial intelligence has the potential to revolutionize the production and energy industries,” says Dr Jochen Köckler. “Humans teach machines to take logical, purposeful actions to meet customer needs. Today, AI systems can generate knowledge, based on data and algorithms. Continuously optimize the operation of production processes, grids and logistics, and reliably predict errors and failures. This is industrial integration – industrial intelligence.”

The theme of Hannover Messe 2019 highlights the growing importance of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the production and energy industries, including the areas of energy efficiency, energy use and autonomous production processes as well as challenges in interfaces, computer protocols and security.

Köckler says: “Management managers responsible for strategic decision-making in companies should explore potential uses in detail and respond to the upheaval that is about to happen. Hannover Messe 2019 is the ideal platform for keeping up-to-date information.”

Sweden is a partner country at Hannover Messe 2019, and this cooperation deepens the bilateral partnership signed by the Swedish and German governments in early 2017. At this year’s Hannover Fair, Sweden will present four major highlights, including e-mobility, e-health, innovative testing facilities and digitalization of SMEs.

In addition, what was very noticeable in this media conference was the speech of Jürgen von Hollen, Chairman of Universal Robots, Denmark. He introduced the topic of technology empowerment. As a leading company focusing on collaborative robots, Universal Robots The development speed of Ao Robot in recent years cannot be underestimated.

It is true that the concept of “empowering” workers is more in line with current industrial development than “machine substitution”, where collaborative robots liberate workers.

In addition, it was revealed that in addition to the six themed exhibitions of integrated automation and power transmission, digital factory, energy, industrial components, air pressure and vacuum technology, and research and technology, a special area for start-ups and career development was also set up at the exhibition. 90 The setting of many conferences and forums enriched the exhibition activities, which made people look forward to the official start of the conference.
