The new company is called NeuralInk, mainly to develop “neural lace” technology, obviously Musk hopes to further enhance the artificial intelligence strength of his company.

This “neural mesh” technology could allow people to communicate directly with machines through electrodes implanted in the human brain. People can not only communicate ideas to the computer, but also download some ideas from the Internet. This technique can help improve the level of cognitive function in people. Musk first mentioned this potential product at the 2016 Code Conference, saying it could allow humans and machines to coexist.
Not just Musk, Facebook is also working on a similar product. Facebook’s secretive R&D arm, Building 8, is developing four hardware devices, and Facebook is even recruiting retail project managers whose job is to design “disruptive” experiences for Facebook’s consumer hardware. It is reported that the four hardware devices under development at Building 8 include drones, augmented reality (AR) products and brain scanning devices, which are similar to the technology Musk hopes to achieve.
