On May 10th, Zhejiang Datang Wushashan Power Generation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: Datang Wushashan Power Plant) unit 1 was successfully connected to the grid after the DCS control system was upgraded; on August 10th, it took 3 months The end of the field stability verification.

This project marks the successful application of the 100% self-controllable ECS-700X control system independently developed by Central Control Technology on a 600MW thermal power unit.

The successful transformation of DCS localization of Unit 1 of Datang Wushashan Power Plant has handed in a satisfactory answer to China’s national strategy of localization of DCS and 100% independent and controllable. This is the first completely localized system implemented by Central Control Technology on a 600MW thermal power unit, and it is also the first unit in Datang Wushashan Power Plant to achieve “100% autonomous controllable” DCS system.

From December 2021 and Datang Wushashan Power Plant to determine the DCS transformation of Unit 1 to use the “100% autonomous and controllable” central control technology ECS-700X control system, to May 2022, Datang Wushashan Unit 1 officially It took 6 months to connect to the grid. Central Control Technology dispatched elite soldiers from various departments to form a project team to jointly build a DCS localization transformation demonstration project with Datang Wushashan Power Plant and Datang East China Research Institute. The total number of points in the project is more than 13,000 points, 44 pairs of controllers, and more than 2,000 pages of logic. The debugging work has been completed in repeated inspections, discussions, and tests, and finally ensured the smooth completion of the grid connection of the unit.

Central control technology ECS-700X control system, system hardware equipment including controllers, IO modules and various components are 100% domestic components, and the operating system adopts Galaxy Kirin operating system. During the implementation of the project, the Power Generation Automation Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Automation and domestic power system experts conducted a comprehensive test and review of the system functions, performance and control schemes. The system’s test indicators and test parameters have reached industry standards.

Central Control Technology’s ECS-700X control system is a large-scale plant-wide integrated joint control system. This project uses network security protection products and solutions centered on the principles of “built-in security, defense-in-depth, and secure operation” to build a secure and controllable information security system. Build a “robustness” at the bottom layer; plan and deploy a network security management and network security operation system at the top level to ensure long-term and continuous effectiveness of network security; build a security communication network, The defense-in-depth system of the security area boundary, secure computing environment and security management center enhances the security protection capability of the industrial control system.

The stable operation of Unit 1 of Datang Wushashan Power Plant after the transformation provides a reliable engineering template for China Datang Group to accelerate energy security construction and achieve high-quality development, and lay a solid foundation for the 100% autonomous and controllable replacement of DCS in China’s industrial system. A solid foundation has improved the technical level of DCS control systems in my country’s industrial field, and is of great significance to ensuring national industrial security.
